This series of podcasts contain conversations between Jackie David Johns and Cheryl Bridges Johns. The couple graduated together from Lee College (University, BA - 1975), Wheaton College (MA - 1976), and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Ph.D. - 1987). They taught together at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary (PTS) from 1986 to 2022. Jackie remains on faculty there while Cheryl has become a visiting professor and Director of the House of Pentecostal Studies at United Theological Seminary. The couple founded and served as pastors of the New Covenant Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee (1989 - 2016). Their talks take place at their home on a small "hobby farm" near Cleveland, Tennessee. There is a broad range of topics with theology, cultural critiques, and politics at the top of the list. The conversations are unscripted with very little, if any, pre-planning. They are characteristic "table talk" for the couple. Life for them has been a 46+ year conversation.
