Eileen Vanisi is truly a Texas Legend. A young lady that spent her extra time working and taking care of her family all while perfecting her craft of throwing. Her story of not having a clue about anything related to athletics, much less track and field, to becoming an All-American, Hall of Fame Honore and competing in the 1996 Olympic Trials... is a story of hard work and perseverance. Eileen has a tough road ahead of her with her health issues, yet she is ready to just take care of business and do what needs to be done.
