India’s biggest name in cue sports with 25 world championship titles under his belt, plus several more in Asian and national championships, it’s none other than the one and only Pankaj Advani! Pankaj who won his first World Title at just 17 years in 2003, is the only player in the world to win world titles in all formats of Billiards and Snooker and he holds the highest number of IBSF World Championships in Billiards and Snooker. Lovingly known as India’s Golden Boy, Pankaj has been awarded the country’s top sports and civilian awards and honours, including the Arjuna Award (2004), the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award (2006), the Padmashree (2009) and the Padma Bhushan (2018).
