All Good in the Sisterhood

Emma Thornton (ET)// Retail Director of Sweaty Betty - Self doubt in the workplace, career advice to women and being a motivator during lockdown

Sophie Season 1 Episode 15

Welcome back to another episode of 'All Good in the Sisterhood'

This week we are joined by Emma Thornton, who is also known as ET.

ET is the Retail Director of Sweaty Betty. In this episode we chat about her career journey, which starts out at university where she started Chemistry.  It's really a story of following your heart and doing something that fills you with passion.

ET gives great advice to young women who are unsure of their career path, how she dealt with insecurities in new job roles and how she stayed motivated during lockdown whilst having to motivate others.

I find her advice so reassuring and positive. She says that 'it's okay to try something and then realise that wasn't right.  Don't be too hard on yourself.  See it as an opportunity.'

We also touch on ET's favourite SB products at the moment!
