The trauma and hardships we don't deal with after combat, don't stay in theater. We bring them home. When we fail to acknowledge that we need help, it's our families that suffer the most. Our behavior at home can even lead to our wives and children developing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and even secondary PTSD.
Jennie Kvintahs is a wellness activist, speaker, and survivor. The war her husband brought home is the same our spouses are fighting today.
