Resource Monday Kickoff
SPEAKER_00Welcome back to another episode of Secure Now Podcast. As always, I am your host, Denny Caballero, and today I got you some resources for a new segment I'm calling. Just making it up right now, spitballing it. Let's workshop it. Resource Monday. Yeah, we're gonna go with it. Let's do it. So let's start this week off on the right foot, shall we? Before the week gets away from us and we get too busy, and you put out taking care of yourself. I want to highlight some amazing organizations that are doing some amazing work, the veteran space. Some are for profits, others are nonprofits, and regardless, they are all doing incredible work, and you should definitely be checking them out. But first, I want to highlight my initiative in partnership with the Special Forces Foundation, Project Forge. Workout community and soon a Discord community built to support not just Green Berets, but anybody with a whoop that wants to work out and get into better shape. Look, mental health and physical health are linked. Oftentimes the fastest way to start feeling better is by getting up off the couch and moving. For some of us, a walk around the block is an incredible goal. For others, it's all about getting ready for 2027 Savage Loop. I miss it this year, but I will be back, I promise. Whatever your fitness goals are, get excited about being active again and join us. Don't have a whoopstrap, too easy, big dog. Gotcha. Doing another giveaway in April, and all you have to do is follow the show and the Special Forces Foundation on Instagram to get notified of the official giveaway rules and when it'll kick off. Alright, let's dive in. First up is my man, Liam Cogan, and his nonprofit 3 Bravo. 3 Bravo is a veteran-led organization dedicated to helping veterans and active duty service members successfully navigate military life, transition out of service, and build a strong next chapter. 3Bravo combines practical guidance, veteran benefit expertise, career support, mental health resources, and community connection to ensure those who have served never feel lost or alone. The organization provides hands-on assistance with benefits, job placement, career networking, and transition planning while also creating a trusted community through monthly meetups, peer support, and real-world connections. With more than 90% of donations going directly back into veteran support services, 3VO focuses on delivering meaningful impact without unnecessary overhead. At its core, 3VO exists to educate, assist, and empower veterans by making support easier to access, easier to understand, and more effective so every veteran can move forward with confidence, purpose, and a community behind them. To find out more, head on over to the episode description and click that link. Next up is VetClaims.ai. VetClaims.ai is a veteran-owned and veteran operated company that helps veterans build stronger, more organized VA disability claims through evidence mapping, Nexus support, CMP exam preparation, and claim strategy. Using a transparent, flat fee model, rather than taking a portion of a veteran's back pay, the company focuses on creating VA ready claim packages built around what the VA respects most. Founded by CEO Lucas Siminer, whose journey from overcoming adversity to becoming a pioneering and entrepreneur in the tech industry reflects resilience, innovation, and a deep commitment to service. VetClaims.ai exists to help veterans better understand the claims process, avoid predatory claim shark practices, and pursue the rating and benefits they have earned with greater confidence. Don't put off submitting your VA claim. Do it today. Reach out to Lucas and his team as soon as you can. Their contact info will also be in the episode description. And if you are a fan of the show, you've known that Lucas has come on the show a couple of times now, and each time it's a remarkable episode. So I invite you to go in the back catalog of Security Hall and check out those episodes. Once you listen to them and you see the fact that Lucas is an honest broker, a passionate entrepreneur, and somebody that uh really truly is getting in the space to help veterans, and I guarantee you will be diving into your computer to reach out to them, ASAP. And another great thing about vetclaims.ai is they are hiring a lot of veterans. Um it's incredible. A lot of my uh former colleagues and a dear, dear close friend of mine have been working there. And I will tell you that everybody's main objective is to help veterans in need. So reach out today. All right. Another one that I'm a big fan of is um The Reason Outdoors. Uh, this is uh an awesome nonprofit founded by another former guest, Ryan Cook Kaparis. The Reason Outdoors is a veteran-founded organization dedicated to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of veterans, first responders, and their families through ecotherapy-based outdoors experiences. Created by GWAP veterans, the organization uses hunting, fishing, wilderness immersion, and time in nature as tools to promote healing, strengthen family relationships, and restore purpose after service. Through shared experiences built around connection, reflection, and peer support, The Reason Outdoors helps participants reconnect with themselves, their loved ones, and a community that understands the challenges of life after service. There's no greater way to reconnect with yourself and tune out the world than being out in the great outdoors with incredible people. This sounds like something you or your friend need, hit them up today by, well, you guessed it, clicking that link in the description. Last but certainly not least, of course, the Special Forces Foundation. Extraordinary sacrifice deserves extraordinary care. It's not just a tagline, it's a mission statement that the entire organization embodies. The SFF was built by Green Berets for Green Berets, so that when a Green Beret needs support, they are getting the same urgency, dedication, and commitment they would expect from when they were in the battlefield. Family emergencies to medical support, the SFF has to be covered. From the moment you walked across that stage and received your beret, you earned their devotion and care. The SFF is here to support Green Berets, active or retired, family members, and surviving family. If you're part of the community and need help, don't wait. Reach out today at info at specialforces foundation.org. Contact information will also be available in the episode description. All right. There you have it, folks. Down and dirty, quick Monday morning resource awareness podcast. Look at that. We did it, got it out there. Great job, everybody involved, which was me, my editor, and the random guy that I send all my episodes to before I upload them. It's my final check. So if you don't like the show, it's not on me, it's on that guy. I won't give out his information. Anyways, thank you all for tuning in. I greatly appreciate it. Thank you for rallying around the show. One more thing, do me a favor, head on over to Instagram, give us a follow, head on over to Spotify or Apple Podcasts, leave us a review, let us know what you like, let us know what you don't like, and I will file that appropriately in the filing cabin of all my failures. But take it seriously, folks. Please reach out, let me know what you like. I'm Denny Caballero, and we'll see y'all next time. Till then, take care. Boom.
