I’m the author of my own life story.

Unfortunately, I’m writing in pen

and I can’t erase my mistakes

but my future will be better than my past.”  - Mr Meet

Therapy with The Kairos Centre is all about helping you to better understand you. Helping to move as much of life's issues from the unconscious, from the unseen, from the invisible, into the conscious, into the seen, into the visible.

That which you cannot seen, you have no hope of changing. Change begins when you can see some things. Therefore, it is useful to understand that Therapy with The Kairos Centre involves working with the unconscious, the unseen, the invisible.

Here are the 3 Stages that is involved in every 50 minutes Therapy session - called The Egan 3 Stages:

STAGE 1: EXPLORING - which is what takes place during each Therapy session, as we jump into the sand pit together in a curiosity way (not criticism), in order to see what we can find and move it into the consciousness, into the seen, into the visible.

STAGE 2: REFLECTING (in order to gain INSIGHT & UNDERSTANDING) - This stage belongs entirely to you. It is all about what you do with the matters which we explored together in the session, so that you chew on them, you think about them, you reflect on them outside of the session. Since, as you do so, you gain insight and greater understanding. You use a highlighter pen to make issues visible. They can never be invisible again, even if you do not move to stage 3. You can now see some things that belong to you - based upon what we explored in stage 1.

STAGE 3: ACTION/CHANGE - based upon the new insights & understanding gained, the question in front of you is - 'What ACTION/CHANGE do you what to set about implementing (or not)'. The choice belongs entirely to you and once made, The Kairos Centre continues to be alongside you to help you with the change process which you have decided upon. (You are not alone).

Another useful tool to help you recognise blind spots, is 'Johari's window'. Here is a Youtube link with an explanation about it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7rlCgy6i88

Sex porn love addiction is all about self-soothing to manage your emotions. It got set up back in the childhood development years. It's just not about sex, it's not about porn. It's all about the repeated use to set up the physiology to crave those dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, self-manufactured drugs in the body. It's impacting women, men, children, age 10 to 75 across all the age ranges, the sexes, the cultures, the professions. It increased exponentially during COVID lockdown and impacting so many lives. The Kairos Center has created the first online comprehensive sex porn love addiction. It's a video on demand recovery program which you can access from anywhere in the world and begin to see identifiable changes just within six weeks of beginning this weekly program. Kairos means your appointed time. Isn't it your time to reclaim your life? Bring colour back to life without shame. Click the link below and begin your journey. You owe it to yourself and to others. There's an exercise I'm going to include called the three questions game. Do this with each other. Let me explain what you need to do. It's getting to know each other, but it's also getting to know you. Get a piece of paper, each of you, a pen, a pencil to write with. What is my favorite colour? Very simple, no catch. Just write down your favorite colour. The next one. Any type of animal. Write down your favorite animal. Number three. What is your favorite way of seeing water contained? What I mean by that is what's your favorite form of container of water? And examples include a lake, a puddle, ocean, bridbath, waterfall, dracuzzi. Think outside of the box. A way in which you see water held, contained. What's your favorite form? Once you've identified each of these, and you can do it at the same time as you choose number one, for each of them you need to give a reason, some reasons, why you chose that particular colour, that particular animal, that particular form of water container. Why? Give one or a few reasons. Because you're going to explain this to your partner. I'm going to leave the rest of the instructions for you to look at in the workbook. There is a significant outcome to this exercise when you read the rest of the instructions. It's going to reveal potentially, not everyone will believe it, but potentially it might well reveal a whole lot of information at a profound level about you. Simple exercise like this. In an earlier session, I talked about this Jahari's window, J O H A R I. Jahari's window is a useful exercise for you to look at. I think what I may have to do is leave you to look at the Jahari's window in more detail by following a YouTube link. There's lots of discussions on YouTube about Jahari's window. I won't take up too much of the session by talking too much about it. Some of you may be interested, others less so. Along the top will say Areas of my life known by me, by self. Down the left hand side of that top box, areas of my life known by others. The second box is the one to the right at the top, and along the top of that second box, areas of my life unknown by me. To the right hand side of that box, areas of my life known by others. Go down to the third box, which is the bottom left. And along the left hand side of that box, areas of my life unknown by others. And at the bottom, areas of my life known by myself. Let's move then to the last of those boxes, the bottom right hand corner. And what you've got is an area in the middle of that box, just called unknown area. But along the top would be the words unknown by self and along the right hand side unknown by others. So areas of your life which others don't know about, which you don't know about, which absolutely lives in the unconscious. Take a look at that Jahari window. And take some time to listen to the YouTube explanation about it. There are areas in our life that we don't know about, others don't know about. Blind spots. Spend some time with the Jihari's window YouTube clip that I'm going to include. And really, if you do no significant work with this, just be aware. We all of us have blind spots. That thing which I've been talking about repeatedly and repeatedly and repeatedly, the unconscious. Areas in our life that we need to move from the unconscious to the conscious, from the invisible to the visible, from the unseen to the seen, so we get a chance to change them. Send me a message. Let's do some work without shame and bring colour back to life. Send the email, send the message to me, Gary McFarlane at the Kairos Center. And let's begin to reclaim your quality of life.
