Experience Awakening....Relaxing into your Being and, therefore, Happiness. William earned a 4 year on campus Master of Theology from Harding Theological Seminary. He was a Unity board president and, later, a Oneness trainer. In 1994 he went into private practice as a Licensed Psychotherapist. He has been to India 14 times averaging 3 months per visit to explore awakening with gurus and awakened beings. Also Bhutan, Brazil, etc. In this series, William attempts to encapsulate and convey what he feels to be most important in his 50 plus years of direct experience on the path of Awakening. This series explores the hows of awakening and encourages the direct experiencing of the flow of your Being, (love, peace, happiness, fulfillment and joy). A practical blending of East and West. 124 Heart Shining Through
Your heart shines through and around emotional layers and colors. I describe a large painting I did where the white canvas shines through just like your Being shines through. This is from my contemplation number 15 on my website, www.williamecooper.wordpress.com

I painted a very large painting years ago. First, I made the frame, then I stretched the canvas and painted it white with gesso. Next, I quickly sketched the subject matter on my large, pristine white canvas. Then I painted. But with this painting, I did something differently. All the white you see in my painting is not from paint. It's the already white canvas that I let show through. I just never applied paint where I wanted white to be. We're all the same way inside. Our white canvas is made of happiness, love, and deep peace. These are the qualities of our radiant being that shines through. That's who we are, always, underneath all the paint. That's the nature of our being, of awareness. We are a shining light all the time. Sometimes we let the light shine through and sometimes we cover it with paint to make a pretty picture. Contents or images can be pretty, but pure, radiant, shining consciousness, love, peace, and well-being, well, that's beauty. Let your light shine. You are beautiful. Want to find your masterpiece under all that old paint? Be still. Rest is awareness and let all that old paint burn off. This is William Cooper and I look forward to talking to you next time.
