46 - Guided Meditation for Relaxation
Guided meditation to melt into the Peace that we are. Our Being is Peace and our creations such as tensions, thoughts, and emotions can melt back into that Peace until there is only Peace. This meditation guides us back into our Being, the Peace that passes all understanding. Please do not practice this meditation while driving or any activity except sitting or lying down ready to enjoy letting go into relaxation.
These podcasts are here to support your personal path of awakening whatever that might be. I feel they are most powerful when listened to in sequence from podcast one forward because each is built on the last. Though they, also, all stand on their own. If anything does not resonate, please disregard it and follow your heart. All my podcasts and website are free. Enjoy!
Though I am a psychotherapist, and these podcasts are offered to be spiritually helpful, they are not psychotherapy. If psychotherapy is ever needed, please reach out to a psychotherapist.

Hello, this is William Cooper. Welcome to Awakening Together, Relaxing into Happiness. I trust you're doing well. Today let's do a meditation realizing the peace of who we are, relaxing into the peace of who we are, and enjoying ourselves in that way. Our being is peace, but so often we've blocked ourselves off with tensions, thoughts, and emotions. So today this meditation is designed to let them all relax and enjoy the peace of yourself, for you to enjoy your own inner peace. I'll start you off in this meditation and then I'll fade away and you can continue as long as you like and just soak it all up. Enjoy yourself. If you're driving or doing something like that, this would not be a good time. Save this meditation for a time when you can sit or lie down and focus exclusively on the peace of who you are. And if you're ready to meditate now, let's do that. Sit down or lie down in a very comfortable spot where you can relax and let go. And before we start, so often in our muscles we store or hide tensions, conflicts, things that we've talked about in our other podcasts. We hide them in our muscles, our thoughts, and our emotions. So let's start by relaxing our muscles. Let's squeeze out that tension. Squeeze all of the muscles all the way from the top of your head down through the tips of your toes. Squeeze all of your muscles so tight, tight, tight. Just squeeze really tight and then release. Relax and let go. And just feel how good it feels to let your innate peaceful nature flow into your muscles. Feel it. Just feel that relaxation and soak it up. It feels so good. Just soak it up. Whether you soak up a drop or a lot, just soak up what you can of that relaxation, of that peace. Let's do it again. Tense all of your muscles tight, tight, tight, tight, tight, and release. And just soak up that peace. Relax. Feel that relaxation all through your muscles. One more time. Tight, tight, tight, and release. And relax. And just soak up all of that peace and well-being. And as you continue to relax, close your eyes. Take a deep and comfortable breath. Exhale and begin to let all the muscles in your body relax even more deeply. All the way from the top of your head down through the tips of your toes. Let all the muscles in your scalp relax. Release. Relax. Soak up relaxation as much as you'd like, as much as feels good through all the muscles in your scalp, down through your forehead. Soak it up. Your eyes work quite hard, so let them rest too. Rest. Soak up that peace down through your cheeks and your jaw. Just soak it up through your neck. Deeper and deeper relaxed. Let it relax. Let yourself relax deeper and deeper. Down through your shoulders, down through your arms, your upper arms, your lower arms, your hands. Let your hands relax, your fingers. Relax deeper and deeper. Down through your upper chest, your lower chest, your stomach, down through the middle of your body, your thighs, your knees. Relax deeper and deeper. Down through your calves, your ankles and your feet, your toes. Let that deep peace, that relaxation flow through your body all the way from the top of your head down through the tips of your toes. Breathe comfortably. What feels good to you? You'll notice that peace can also come through the breath, through your breath. Breathe in a way that's comfortable for you. Perhaps you notice other tensions in your body. Pick one and let it relax into peace. Let the tension itself breathe comfortably. Maybe it just wants a small breath, but let it breathe in peace and well-being. Let it receive. Let it soak it in. It's all about receiving. Receiving is the same as relaxing, isn't it? Relaxing is simply receiving peace. Soak in well-being and peace. You may notice an emotion. And if you do, maybe you don't, but if you do, let it receive. What does it want? Peace. Let it receive the peace. Or maybe it wants love, your love. So let it receive some love. Maybe it can't receive much. Well, let it receive a drop. Let it soak it up like a dry sponge. Start with a drop. If it wants more and can take more, let it have as much as it likes, as it likes, when it likes. Be its friend. Let it relax. Notice to the degree that your emotions relax or your tensions relax, they disappear. They melt into the ground of your being, peace, well-being, and your thoughts. Let them relax. You may notice that you're watching your thoughts. You're watching your emotions. You're feeling them and your tensions. You're feeling them. You're watching them. So you're not them because you're the one that's watching or feeling them. Let them melt. You can construct emotions and thoughts anytime you want. And they can deconstruct because they melt very nicely into peace. So you can let them melt away, deeper and deeper relaxed. Some of them melt away and some of them aren't ready to melt away yet, and that's okay. They will in their own time and in their own way. You just relax and let them do what they'd like to do. You'll notice that tensions, emotions, and thoughts just radiate a certain energy. They radiate that energy. And as they radiate it, they release that energy and they begin to melt away in that way, just like an ice cube radiating. The more it radiates, it just melts away like an ice cube on a warm skillet, just melting away. And they can also receive that peace because it feels so good. Relaxation feels so good. They can receive it, relax, and release and melt away, deeper and deeper relaxed. Your thoughts, they do what they want right now. Perhaps they spin around like a rubber band releasing their energy. That's what they do. Once they've released all their energy, they relax and disappear. Perhaps they flare up here or there and release a little bit more energy. That's okay. Sometimes they melt into light and that's okay too. They just glow. Sometimes your emotions just glow. You know, they're all energy. You can feel them. So let them melt. Let them radiate because that energy is you. And that energy melts back into the universal light, which is you, the light of you. So you can relax and release. You can just watch all of this. You can soak it up on every level. Relax, release, and enjoy. I'm going to step away and let you continue to enjoy yourself for as long as you like, going deeper and deeper relaxed. And when you're ready, whenever that might be, you can simply open your eyes and flow from your center through the rest of your day. Your center, peace, well-being, happiness, and let everything flow from there. Okay, take care.
