Taking a pause from practices we look at what we are now and always. We are One. In fact there is no us....only Happiness. There is no connection because there is no two and, therefore nowhere to flow and connect to. There is only the hum of bliss which is everything....creation. And the other side of the same coin which is everything beyond creation. In this podcast we don't postpone experiencing our Self now.
These podcasts are meant to supplement your personal path of awakening whatever that might be. They are a compilation of what I have found to be the most helpful over the last 50 years on my path of awakening. I feel these podcasts are most powerful when listened to in sequence from podcast one forward because each is built on the last. Though they, also, all stand on their own. Since we are each a bit different, if anything does not resonate, please disregard it and follow your heart. All my podcasts and website are free. Enjoy!
Though I am a psychotherapist, and these podcasts are offered to be spiritually helpful, they are not psychotherapy. If psychotherapy is ever needed, please reach out to a psychotherapist.

Hello, this is William Cooper. Welcome to Awakening Together. I trust you're doing well today. Today I'd like to talk more about oneness. In oneness, there is no connection. There's nobody to connect to. There's nothing to connect to. You don't even connect to the wall or connect to the tree, as I've talked about in other podcasts. It's only oneness. There's no two-ness or other-ness. So there's nothing to connect to. Energy can't even flow because there's nowhere to flow to. It's all light. It's all radiance. There's only oneness. It's all literally one. There is no such thing as time and there's no such thing as birth or death. It's just deep. Very deep. The way I experience it is really two sides of the coin happening at the same time. This creation vibrates. It hums. It's not going anywhere. It's just humming in bliss. It's a deep vibration of happiness and bliss is how it feels in my body. At the same time, it strobes in and out maybe a million or a billion times a second into complete nothingness, complete emptiness. As I've described in other podcasts, it's beyond words because it's not in creation, but it's a very full emptiness and you can only know it through intuition. It's where everything comes from. It springs from the unmanifest into the manifest. I know those sound like just words, but it's real. And this is happening for you too, all the time. Whether we realize it or not, it's nothing that has to be achieved because it's always happening. Be here now. It's happening. So in this podcast, rather than talk about how to get somewhere, I want to talk about what's already here. You are a radiant light beyond time, beyond space, and you strobe in and out of emptiness or that which is beyond creation. You're too big for just this creation. You're this creation and everything beyond. And there is no you. There's only all of that. The creation, which melts into light, bliss, and happiness. At least that's how it's experienced. And on the other side of the same coin is the infinite, which is beyond creation, complete emptiness. But as I say over and over a full emptiness, everything beyond, it's where everything comes from. You strobe in and out, and there is no you, there's just strobing in and out. All the barriers are gone. That's why all there is, is radiance, happiness. It's everything that you aspire to or aspire for. It's all there in a atomic, blissful radiance because there's no boundaries, nothing holding it in. It just is explosively glowing. That's you. It feels like you, but there is no individual you radiant. And in this context, it's a little bit odd to do spiritual practices because I don't know about you. When I do a spiritual practice in a way, I postpone me feeling the effects of this connection or openness or beyond connection until I do that spiritual practice. I do my yoga first, and then I kind of open up. I know it's best to be open all the time. And what I'm saying is I am unless I do a spiritual practice because it comes up again. Why are you doing the spiritual practice? If you're already open, if you're already connected, yoga is about union, which is about opening into the divine. I'm not saying spiritual practices are wrong. As you'll see, most of these podcasts are about us opening up and what can we do to open up? It's only in this broadcast when I'm describing where we truly are that in this context, it's just a little bit odd to talk about spiritual practices. And I bring this up because one day all spiritual practices will fade out of your life because you're seeing and experiencing very clearly. As we discussed in another podcast, it's a rope. It's not a Cobra. Everything I've been doing is struggling as if it is a Cobra, but it's not. It's a rope. So what I'm encouraging in this podcast is rather than struggle with what you're not for just a while, maybe just today or this week, notice what you are. Notice the light that you are, because even if there's chunks of disconnection or blocks or I don't even know the words, but let's say blocks, that's not you. And around the dark places, there is light. When you sit down and meditate, it's that which is aware is the light. And the idea is that you let everything go until there's only light. There's only seeing. Well, you don't get there one day. That's where you are today. You can let it all go today. So this week, see what you are and let everything else go. Only see what you are light. And perhaps you'll see the world strobing in and out of existence a million times a second. Now, I don't mean for you to imagine that this is happening because that's kind of making an overlay of an imagination that's hallucinating. And even if it's a real feeling hallucination, it's not real. I'm saying see clearly, just stop and look experience clearly and see clearly be open. Yes, you'll only see it when you see it. And you can't do this through willpower, but be open to it. In the Bhagavad Gita, the 12th chapter, 7th verse, Krishna talking to Arjuna says, the deepest truth is to be absorbed in the infinite. Be totally absorbed until the personal you is gone, totally absorbed in the infinite, totally merged with all of creation and beyond. So there is no you. Creation has become you. You've disappeared into it all. Be absorbed. That's what I'm talking about. See clearly and just, there's no movement. I don't know how to describe it. It's just a clear light strobing in and out of the beyond a million times a second. Be absorbed in that. You are everything. There's no, it's not like you're looking at the tree. There's no two. It's oneness. You are the tree. And it's not even a you and a tree. It's just oneness. It's very real. In the next verse of the Bhagavad Gita, chapter 12, 8th verse, Krishna says, okay, if you can't do that, do yoga practices. That includes the kind of yoga that we're familiar with, which is moving the body, Hatha yoga, or some variation of that, or meditation is included under the yoga umbrella. And there are many other kinds of yoga. Yoga means union with the infinite. And so it's anything that will help you let go into your being, into happiness. That's called yoga. And that's a lot of what we've been talking about in other podcasts. If yoga is not possible for you, Krishna says, okay. And the next verse, he says, okay, do your actions, your daily actions, but don't be attached to the results. Just give them to the infinite. Sort of an unattached and generous lifestyle, giving your actions to the infinite. And then Krishna says in the next verse, okay, if you can't do that, then just seek the refuge of your guru. Now, later I'll do a podcast or a number of podcasts on gurus, but that is an option as well. For this podcast, I'd like you to focus on what you are always. It's kind of odd. It feels like we're doing things to get there, but we're already there. You know, that is our nature, this oneness. There is no you really. When you let go of everything, think about it. All the borders disappear. The labels disappear. Boundaries disappear. And all there is, is energy, this bliss humming, and it strobes in and out of nothing. That's it. The trees disappear. You can see them, but you don't hold onto them. So they become almost transparent and translucent light. And so do all the other objects that's going on all the time. Right now, we use the mind to block that and using the mind. When we look through our personality and our thoughts, it's like looking through a kaleidoscope. So instead of looking through a clear window at say a tree, you're looking through a kaleidoscope and the tree disappears. You can't even see reality because it's colored by our thoughts. And as Thomas Jefferson said, thoughts are merely hallucinations. We make them up. We're looking through our own made up kaleidoscope. So yeah, it's pretty and it's interesting and we do it a lot. We love it. Just like we love watching other made up stuff, movies and TV shows and all sorts of other stuff. It's fun, but it's not real in oneness. There's no attachment because you are everything. There's nothing to get. You are everything you have and are everything right now. You're vibrating with it. There's no relaxing into happiness. You are happiness right now. So see that for yourself. Look through all of the delusion, all of the things that are telling you otherwise. See if you can just look through that. Let it become transparent and see and experience who you truly are. So yes, in our future podcasts, we're going to look at many different approaches to your awakening. Certainly all of the ones that Krishna recommended. We'll look at them in more depths, a little this way, a little that way. But I certainly don't want to avoid and overlook who you are now all the time, even when we're working with other practices to cut through the delusions. And I want to encourage you, see what you are now. Okay, I've enjoyed it and I look forward to talking to you next time. Take care.
