112. Reclaim Your Life with Leah Van Dolder
My guest today is Health & Success Coach Leah Van Dolder.
Leah's journey in nutrition began with her first Bachelor of Science degree at Nipissing University in North Bay, ON, where she developed a passion for the impact of nutrition on the body, both physically and mentally. To further her knowledge in the field, Leah pursued a Bachelor of Science Honours Specialization in Nutrition and Dietetics at The University of Western Ontario in London, ON, which led Leah to complete her Dietetic Internship at Hamilton Health Sciences. Her first job was working on the SaxendaCare program, where she provided coaching for individuals taking doctor-prescribed weight loss medications. Later, Leah joined the St Joseph's Bariatric Program, where she worked on medical weight loss and provided outpatient surgery support.
As a member of the College of Dieticians of Ontario and the Consulting Dieticians Network, Leah focuses on weight management and understanding the psychology of eating behaviours. She finds satisfaction in helping clients become mindful of their eating habits, debunking nutrition myths, and empowering them to say yes to themselves without feeling guilty or stressed.
In today's conversation, we talk all about what it means to be in the flow of life, keep promises with yourself, find the time in your schedule to get shit done, bridge the gap between intention and reality, and so much more. Tune into today's episode!
