This isnât your average yoga podcast.
Living Your Yoga â Embodied Wisdom is where real life meets real practiceâno filter, no fluff, no forced enlightenment.
Iâm Shirleeâyoga teacher, breathwork facilitator, and mentor to yoga teachers who are done with performance and ready to show up as their whole, messy, magical selves.
Each week, we explore how yoga lives beyond the matâthrough stories, soul talk, deep breaths, and occasional sass. From parenting and partnership to pigeon pose and panic attacks, this podcast is about the real practice: how we show up when life gets loud, uncertain, or beautifully ordinary.
Expect a little wisdom, a little humor, and a whole lot of heart.
Whether youâre a longtime yogi or yoga-curious human just trying to make it through Monday, youâre welcome here.

The Brave Work of The Heart đ
Welcome back, friends. This week, weâre entering the heart of it allâliterally. Episode 4 in our chakra series is all about the fourth energy center, Anahata, the heart chakra.
This is the bridge between the physical and the spiritual, where love, compassion, grief, and connection all meet. Itâs also where we get really honestâwith ourselves and each other. And spoiler alert: this is the chakra that asks us to be brave enough to feel, forgive, and soften. Oof. No big deal, right?
In this episode, I share a deeply personal story about learning to open my heart again after heartbreak and how it still shows up in unexpected ways. We talk about the physical and emotional signs of an imbalanced heart chakra, how to nourish it (yes, with food and movement), and the practices that gently guide us back to center.
This isnât about airy-fairy "just love and light" nonsense. This is about real, gritty, soul-level healingâand learning to live from your heart even when it feels hard.
