Alex Sterner is the owner and head coach of Electrum Performance, a strength and conditioning gym in San Diego focused on performance training for professional BJJ athletes and fighters.  

He is also the head strength & conditioning coach at Atos headquarters and has worked with some of the best Jiu Jitsu fighters in the world like Andre Galvao, Kaynan Duarte, and Gustavo Batista.

In this episode we talk specifically about injuries in jiu-jitsu, injury prevention, and some common misconceptions about injuries, especially claims that are touted by many fitness professionals online.
