God, Are ya’ there?

God

Of course.

Thyme

Yeah, I know. You’re always right here.

God

That’s right.

Thyme

Well, how can ya’ be right here an’ over there with Lizzie at the same time?

God

I’m omnipresent.

Thyme

Oh, here we go with the Omnis again.

God

What do you mean again. They never stop.

Thyme

Well, … ya’ got a point there.

God

I know.

Thyme

I looked it up. Omni means “All”.

God

That’s right. Always present with all.

Thyme

Wow. How do ya’ do that?

God

I donno. I just do it.

Thyme

Oooh, ya’ mean there’s actually somethin’ that you don’t know?

God

Probably not.

Thyme

But how can ya’ be with all us billions a’ people all at the same time?

God

I don’t question it. I just do it.

Thyme

But I can’t do somethin’ like that. What makes you able to?

God

Well, you’re human. I’m not.

Thyme

But ya’ act human …

God

That way I’m easier for you to talk to.

Thyme

Hey, wait a minute. Who made you?

God

Nobody made me. I’ve just always been.

Thyme

Wow. Tha’s deep. I’ll have ta’ think on that.

God

Sounds like a good idea.

Thyme

How come I can’t do that? You know … always be.

God

You can. You are.

Thyme

I am?

God

You’ve always been. You just don’t know it.

Thyme

Phew … I donno …

God

I know.

Thyme

I donno if I’m ever gonna figure all this out.

God

I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you.

Thyme

But you’re not me.

God

Well, that’s a subject for another day.

Thyme
