Sam Thiara is sharing his quest to search for his identity on his journey to India to find his ancestral roots armed with little else than a faded photograph and determination. As he begins to piece together the puzzle of his history, Sam realizes he is piecing himself together, too.
Sam is an educator from Simon Fraser University here in Vancouver, Canada. He's a storyteller with two TedX presentations and an author of a few books, one of them being his incredible narrative, Lost and Found: Seeking the Past and Finding Myself.
