Amy Traub is the Associate Director of Policy and Research at Demos, non-profit public policy organization. Amy has proposed a Public Credit Registry to replace the established credit reporting agencies like Equifax and Trans Union. Her proposal was recently adopted by Joe Biden’s presidential campaign. On the next episode of Clark Hill’s Credit Eco To Go, Amy discusses the details of this proposal and how it would be implemented by the CFPB. Amy tells us that the goal is ultimately transparency but also to achieve more equity and accountability in the credit reporting process. A must listen for industry.
