Speaker 1:

Okay. So hello, I'm the Gentle Yorgawaria and this is season 15, and I want to put this episode in because on episode one, we came up with a brand new way to approach a new year, instead of going for this boom and bust way of kind of like trying to achieve everything it wants. If you haven't listened to that episode, I'd really suggest that you listen to it. But what we did was we did a process where we found one thing fun to work on for the month, one thing to do with fitness and one thing to do with finance, and it was to approach this in a way that would make it easier for you to do so. I suggested little and often, rather than a lot, and not having the time to do it, did you start to plant those seeds? How was it for you and what would you do to change how you approached it? So perhaps get a notebook out and you can write this down and in your free time you can journal how that was and just have a look, because the more we know ourselves right, the more we're able to kind of improve. How did it feel inside from doing all that stuff? Did it feel difficult? Did you find some things easier to do than others. And if there's any errors which you perceive to be a failure, I would suggest you instead kind of see it from a different lens and see yourself as a winner and how you managed to win around having those problems, and instead I would rather you saw yourself as a winner and you progressed through those problems or any blocks, and and don't throw the towel in if you come against a block, just keep going. What are the gems that you learned in the past month? What are the things that you think oh yes, I'm really learned from this. Oh yes, this is really good. And oh yes, this really helped me. And what areas do you think were kind of failure? But, like I said, I don't like the word failure. But what were the big obstacles that you hit?

Speaker 1:

Again that stopped you doing those free things, which was to develop something financially, something fun and something fitness, and why were those blocks? So perhaps it was you were trying to do I don't know, this is just off the top of my head 10 sit-ups in the morning. What were their obstacles and how could you stop those obstacles? It might be that you couldn't bother to do it, or maybe you forgot. Could you put your fitness mat down in the morning, put your exercise clothes on that fitness mat so that when you wake up you can put them on? And or, if you're going to find some healthy food, could you set a reminder in your phone to go and shop for that food, because half the time if you haven't shopped for it, then we're not going to cook it.

Speaker 1:

And from all of that right for this next month, what are the things that you want to work on? So you know, we did that exercise where we went through fitness, fun and finance, and I told you to pick one. So your decision now is are you going to expand and continue on that one thing maybe you need to develop it a bit more or, out of the list that you came up with in episode one, is there's something else that you want to work on financially this month? Is there something else fitness wise you want to work on this month? And it's a some sort of new fun that you want to implement this month. And if you forgot to do the fun, which is quite often the one that people forget, can you go for it? And and I kind of bring it into your life and did you help the balance between work, fun and rest.

Speaker 1:

And for February, let's kind of get things going a bit more. Let's start kind of going out into the world a bit more. So, as well as doing those tasks this month, is there something that you can do, just one thing during the course of February where you push yourself outside your comfort zone. It can be something small, it can be something big, but pick something that's going to help you on your life's journey and go for it this month to kind of push you outside your comfort zone, and I'll be very intrigued to see how that is. And one extra thing here is that people say they often forget to nurture themselves, right? So an extra little task which is fun is to go and buy a packet of seeds that you kind of can plant at this time of year and get yourself some earth and a pot, and I want you to plant that seed and just think this is the seed that you're planting, because you're planting for this next year ahead. Can you remember to nurture it, water it? And this seed is a symbol of how you're going to kind of grow in this next year. I would suggest that you plant more than one seed, just because of how seeds are, some seeds will manifest and some seeds aren't. So I suggest planting three seeds and see how that goes. So I hope this is of help to you. I'm not going to overload you We've got some more amazing guests coming up but I thought this would be a great little time just to sneak in a bit more of remembering, to reflect on our goals and let's see how we get on with it. So thank you for listening to me today.

Speaker 1:

As always, here is your meditation inspired by today's show. Any questions, any wins that you'd like to share, then do reach out to us via shamanichealingsearth, on the contact page there, and let us know. But, as always, thank you for listening. Without you, dear listeners, I don't have a show. So thank you. As promised, here is your meditation inspired by today's show.

Speaker 1:

Top tips for the meditation is either sit nice and cross-legged on the floor with a nice, straight back always nice to sit on a block or a cushion, or that's not available for you. You sit in a chair with a back, nice and straight. The important thing is you're not slouching, and if you're doing something that requires you concentration, all you need to do is just pause this and you can reconvene the meditation at a time that is good for you. If you're doing the meditation, let's begin. So today's meditation is going to be a three minute guided meditation to help you understand what it is that you want out of life, and you're going to start to slowly calm the breath. So you're going to breathe in and out through the nostrils as you inhale, as you exhale in and out. Just take one more deep, really super deep breath, inhale, filling up the whole lungs, and then exhale.

Speaker 1:

Let it go and then just start to breathe normally and you find yourself in a winter, wonderful, snow filled scene. The snow is about everywhere on the ground, not too deep but nice and crisp. As you make footsteps in the snow in your imagination, you can feel the sound of the snow crackling underneath your feet. As you start to walk slowly along, and as you're walking along and you're breathing, there is a house, a beautiful house, in front of you and you possess the key to that house, for as you look down into your hand, there is a key ring with your name on it, and inside this house is what your heart most desires.

Speaker 1:

Gently, at first, you make your way on to the steps, for you can't believe your look. This house is amazing, amazing and what is individual to you. But then, as you reach the door and you turn the key and you open the front door, there is the aroma of your favourite dish, your favourite food that you like to consume, and you walk into the house, into the house as you breathe, slowly and calmly, and there's a lovely, warm, roaring fire and lots of cushions or maybe a soft back chair, and you find yourself sitting in this house and you just close the eyes and you breathe in this warm and contented space and you ask yourself. You ask yourself what is it? What is it that my heart most desires? What is it that I desire so much within my heart? And you allow.

Speaker 1:

The first thing that comes up, which feels in vibrational harmony with yourself and to others, and in this lovely house that you're in, there is a notebook. So as you sit there in your imagination, you pick up this notebook and you start to write a scene within your mind's eye of what that thing is, how you feel with that thing, how it looks to be with that thing, perhaps how it tastes or ill, how it feels, depending on what it is that you wish to have. You'll need to rush, just be so. You just write a page in your imagination of what it feels perhaps taste, feels, touches, smells, like to be, with that thing, all full of joy of experiencing it.

Speaker 1:

Perhaps you've got the ideas straight away, perhaps you've got a glimpse, but it is a start, something to build upon. So take some slow, calm, deep breaths in and out through the nostrils back into the room. So I invite you to come back into this beautiful house any time that you wish to, and the snow helps you to come into the magical imagination. And if you want to have longer this meditation, just press pause on this podcast. Or if you're ready to come out for today, just take some slow, calm, deep breaths in and out through the nostrils and calmly come back into the room. And if you want to, you can write down that thing in a notebook and come back to that meditation daily until you feel like you've really kind of cemented it in your hearts and in your imagination.
