Spiritual Accountability in Marriage//When Your Partner Becomes Your Mirror
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Most of us don't notice when we're slipping spiritually. That's kind of the whole problem.
For years, I navigated my faith alone. Which meant my blind spots stayed blind. No one was close enough to see what I couldn't see in myself. I'd go months without realizing anything had shifted. And then I got married, and all of that changed.
This episode is about the adjustment that comes with having someone who notices before you do. Someone who will voice concern about where you are spiritually before you've even registered that something is off. It's a beautiful thing. It's also a humbling one — and I think it's a conversation we don't have nearly enough.
We're getting into what real spiritual accountability looks like in a relationship, why being truly known requires more vulnerability than most people realize, and the difference between a partner who holds you accountable and one who just makes you feel small.
