Every year, as the New Year starts, people all over the world set new resolutions for the New Year.

Reviewing current habits and behavior, reflecting on what habits helped and what habits hindered my sleep, and in the end changing my behavior accordingly and establishing new habits was key in overcoming the insomnia I dealt with. Check out today's episode to get some ideas on how you can best implement new habits and how to stick with them. I'll talk a bit about habit stacking as well as the " Four Laws of Behavior Change" James Clear discusses in his book Atomic Habits. Following the Four Laws of Behavior Change can help you build better habits. They are (1) make it obvious, (2) make it easy, (3) make it attractive, and (4) make it satisfying. 

As usual, the episode follows with me talking a bit about what's been going on in our lives to distract you further from your own thoughts and if you are not asleep by then, I will gently talk you to sleep at the end of the podcast episode with our bedtime story .
