Aussie Mindset Coach
Talent takes you so far, hard work takes you further, and they will never be enough without mindset! Smash Your Barriers podcast is for anyone wanting straight up tools to have mindset breakthroughs, motivation and communication skills for success.
My name is Selina Iddon and I host the show. Having coached people to kick their goals for more than 17 years I know my techniques work for anyone passionate about something and wanting breakthroughs.
We are all human and dealing with the same feelings in different scenarios. With years of experience and passion for people to realise what is possible for themselves. The core of my work is language, the words we use are the speakers to our subconscious and often our self-sabotage. My motto is 'Change your language, change your life; and I am yet to be shown this doesn't work. I keep things down to earth and simple.
For those who have been coached by me they know my coaching with a very direct - no BS style. don't hold back when it comes to having people live powerfully and with freedom to be your true self. My mission is to create leaders full of passion, courage and kindness. To learn more about me check out my website www.selinaiddon.com.au.

Beware using the word 'need' (57)
Todays episode is a little different. It is an argument I wrote for my university studies, therefore more academic, formal format than usual for me.
It felt great to have the research to back up what I have known for years and researched informally - language is powerful and the words we use make a difference to our well-being and leadership.
Below are references for todays episode.
