In this episode, Gavin speaks intriguingly to Dr Daniel Bucio-Noble, a research scientist at the Children's Medical Research Institute. Dr Bucio-Noble holds a Chemical Engineering Degree, a Master of Biotechnology, and a PhD in Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences.
His field of research is profound, Daniel and the team are conducting a cancer research project which is developing the world’s largest database of cancer protein samples, to help clinicians to treat cancer.

ProCan is all about personalised medicine – so there is less chance of relapse or using treatments that won’t be effective.

The Great Cycle Challenge raises funds for the Children's Medical Research Institute to fight cancer for the children of today and those in the future. Gavin rides every year for this challenge and wanted to find out how the ProCan project came to be and the impact ProCan can make on a global scale.
