Berto shares his story of how he joined the family business of flipping homes in 2000, became a loan office to learn the finance side of the business, experienced the harshness of the crash in 2007 but found a way to come out wiser and more focused now as a real estate investor. Berto and his partner, Manny Marquez, now are highly successful investors in southern California and manage a multi-million dollar fund that allows them to fix and flip houses to themselves that they hold as a rental portfolio.
