The Hard Question: Why Not You

Today's video is gonna be a little bit different. So just bear with me because at the end I want to ask you a question and I want you to answer it inside of the comments. But I need you to answer it honestly. Why are you not successful yet? Not why the market is hard, not why sellers are flaky, not why buyers disappeared, not why interest rates changed. Why are you not successful yet? Because this morning I got off of a one-on-one with a TU Titanium University member, and what he told me should bother a lot of you. This man made close to double his annual W-2 salary this past year wholesaling. And before you start doing what people love to do, before you start explaining why he had some advantage, why his market must be better, why he probably got lucky, why maybe he had more time, more money, more connections, more confidence. Let me tell you exactly what he said. He said, I followed the playbook you handed me exactly and followed it. I'm just a normal person, nothing special. Hedgehog concept, consistent as a tree. I don't search for unicorns. I use all the systems you tell us to use, and because of that, I've been able to create my own reality. That's what he said. And listen, this man, Max, on a daily basis has two to three hours. And in a couple of months, he'll be quitting his W-2 to become a full-time wholesaler. Now let me ask you again, why aren't you creating your own reality? Because this is where people get uncomfortable. Everybody says they want success. Everybody says they want freedom. They want to quit the job. Everybody says they want more money, more control, more time, more options. But when it comes time to actually follow a process, that's where most of you disappear. You do not have an information problem, especially if you've been following this channel for a while. You have an execution problem. You don't need another strategy. You need to become the type of person who can run one strategy long enough for it to work. And that's the game. That's the part people don't want to hear. Because it's easier to romanticize success than it is to repeat simple actions for long periods of time. It's easier to look for a unicorn than it is to become a hedgehog. And that's why most people lose. They're always looking for the magic list, the magic market, the magic script, the magic lead source, the magic hire, the magic AI tool, the magic CRM, the magic shortcut. They're searching for one thing that will save them from becoming disciplined. And it doesn't exist. The people who win in this business are usually not the most talented. They're not the flashiest. They're not the most naturally gifted. They're just the people who could follow the playbook without constantly needing to try to reinvent it. That's it. And that's what this TU member said matters so much. I'm just a normal person. Nothing special. Perfect. Because that destroys the excuse. See, a lot of you are still sitting there acting like success belongs to some different species of person. Like there are these chosen people who are somehow built for wholesaling, and then there's you. Well, that's nonsense. What if the difference is not talent? What if the difference is not intelligence? It's not even opportunity. What if the difference is that one person actually followed directions and another person kept negotiating with the process? That's what most of you are doing. You're not following the playbook. You're editing the playbook. You're half doing the playbook. You're doing the parts you like and avoiding the parts that expose your weakness. You'll watch the training, but you won't make the calls. You say you want deals, but you don't make any offers. You'll say you want freedom, but you keep protecting the habits that guarantee that you stay stuck. And then when the results don't come, you say the business didn't work. No, you didn't work the business. There's a difference. So let me say something that's probably going to hurt your feelings. Your future is probably not being stolen from you by the market. It's been stolen by you in your inconsistency, by distraction, by overthinking, by emotional decision making, by needing every day to feel good before you perform, by constantly pivoting before anything has time to compound. You keep uprooting the tree, then wondering why it never grows. That's why I loved what he said. Consistent as a tree. That line is extremely powerful. Because trees do not argue with seasons. Trees do not panic because growth is invisible for a while. Trees do not wake up every week and decide they want to be something else. They stay rooted, they stay planted, and they keep growing. And eventually, what was happening underground becomes impossible not to notice above ground. And this is how real success works. Not loud at first, not sexy at first, not dramatic, not what we want, but undeniable over time. And some of you are losing because you keep demanding visible success before you've earned invisible discipline. That's the truth. You want the harvest, but you do not respect the root system. You want the freedom, but you do not respect the repetition. You want to create your own reality, but you still live like someone waiting for permission. This TU member is not special. That's the point. He's not a unicorn. He is proof. Proof that ordinary people with the right playbook and the right level of obedience to it can build extraordinary outcomes. And that's why I want this video to hit you right between the eyes. Because if a normal person can follow the system, stay focused, stop chasing unicorns, and create a path out of the W-2, then what exactly is your excuse? Be honest. Is it really lack of knowledge? Probably not. Is it lack of consistency? Almost guaranteed. Is it really lack of opportunity? Impossible. Or is it lack of courage to try to go after the opportunities that exist? Is it really that you don't know what to do? Probably not if you've watched any of my videos. Or is it that you know exactly what to do and you keep refusing to do it long enough? That's the conversation nobody wants to have with themselves. Everybody loves success stories. Very few people want to become the person required to create one, and that is why so many people stay trapped. Not because they are incapable, because they are undisciplined, not because the path is hidden, because the past the path is boring. And boring doesn't sell, but it does pay. And that's the part I need some of you to finally understand. The playbook works when you work it, the systems work when you use them. The process works when you stop trying to be the exception to it. Stop looking for a more exciting answer. Stop looking for a prettier answer. Stop looking for an answer that protects your ego. Here is the answer. Pick the playbook, run the playbook, keep running the playbook, measure, adjust where necessary, but do not abandon structure just because your emotions got loud. That's how people create their own reality. Not through hype, not through luck, through repeated execution. So I'll leave you with the question one more time. And remember, I want to see your comments. Why are you not successful yet? And I don't want some fake answer. I want the real one. The one that you say to yourself in the mirror when nobody else is around. Because once you tell the truth about what's really holding you back, that's when your life can change. And maybe the answer is simple. Maybe you've been searching for unicorns when you should have been building a business like a hedgehog. Maybe you've been dabbling when you should have been committing. Maybe you've been consuming when you should have been executing. Maybe you've been waiting to believe in yourself instead of borrowing belief from a proven process. That's what this TU member did. He trusted my playbook. He followed it. He's just a normal guy. But he stayed focused. And now he's creating a reality most people only talk about. So the question is not whether it's possible. The question is whether you're finally ready to stop making excuses and start doing the work required to create yours. I'll leave you with this final thought. The reason why I didn't name this TU member is because he will be quitting his W-2 here in a couple of months. And out of respect for him and that job, I don't want to name him. I don't want it to get around to his job that he will be quitting. But we had a very in-depth conversation about what his future looks like after he quits that W-2. And I told him this is the greatest step that he could ever make as a family man, as a dad, as a spouse, and honestly for himself. Because now his kids, his wife, get to go see him, create that reality that he wants for himself. He gets to show his kids as a dad that you can truly do whatever you want to do. And that is honestly one of the greatest gifts that we can ever give to our kids. That when they're 18, 19 years old and they're leaving the house and they're going to go become an adult and decide what they want to do with their lives. If they truly believe that they can go do anything, what a powerful gift that we can give to our children. So think about it. Where are you at in your journey?
