Time Vs Money In Lead Gen
SPEAKER_00When you choose what lead generation tactic that you're going to use when wholesaling real estate, you're making a choice of what sacrifice you're going to have. Are you going to sacrifice your time, your effort, and your energy, or are you going to sacrifice your capital, your money? What I mean by this is you're about to see me call cheap leads. You're going to see the result of what happens with many of those cheap leads. And then you're going to see me call more expensive leads, exclusive, not even county, statewide, nationwide leads, but more expensive than cold call leads. And the difference is, well, with the cheap leads, you are sacrificing your time, effort, and energy because, well, they're not going to be as motivated. And at times that phone call is not going to be successful. But then when you invest your capital, yeah, it costs you more money, but it's going to take less effort, less time to do the number one job that we have. The first job that we have as an acquisitions rep, which is what? Get the seller to answer the phone. And then once they answer the phone, we have to know that they have a house that they want to sell. And the times when you're calling those cheap cold call leads, well, guess what happens? They have no house that they want to sell. They want to know how you got their information, and then they hang up on you. And that rarely happens with the more expensive PBL leads. I'm not saying it never happens, but it's not as frequent. It doesn't take as much time and effort, and it's not demoralizing to you during your acquisitions phase. So what you're going to see is a healthy example of some live seller calls, the introductions that I've placed over the past four weeks. Where on some of those, I was calling cheap cold call leads. And on other lives, I was calling the more expensive $30 to $50 nationwide exclusive leads. So you can see the difference just in the first 30 seconds to a minute of those conversations. So you can see the difference. So as you make this decision on what am I going to be doing inside of my wholesale operation? What do you want to sacrifice? Your time, your effort, your energy, your morale, or do you want to sacrifice capital?
