July 4th Gratitude For Builders

SPEAKER_00

Today is the 4th of July. And before we get into the cookouts, fireworks, questionable hot dog consumption, and at least one uncle wearing an American flag tank top that probably should have been retired in 1998, I want to take a minute and say something sincerely. I am incredibly grateful to be an entrepreneur in the United States of America. And I don't say that lightly because today we're celebrating the 250th birthday of this country. 250 years. That's a long time. That's older than most of the houses we're trying to wholesale. And somehow, after 250 years, this country is still one of the greatest places on earth to build something from nothing. That doesn't mean America is perfect. It doesn't mean business is easy. It doesn't mean every day feels like freedom, bald eagles, and profit margins. Some days entrepreneurship feels less like the American dream and more like getting punched in the face by QuickBooks, payroll, marketing costs, employees, sellers, buyers, contractors, and a lender who suddenly needs one more document. But even with all of that, what an unbelievable blessing. I get to wake up in a country where I can have an idea, start a business, fail, try again, change directions, build a brand, create content, buy properties, sell properties, coach people, launch new companies, and literally create my own reality. That's not normal everywhere. And one of the coolest things I've seen through Titanium University is that the opportunity here is not just impacting people who live here.

Global Students Wholesaling In The US

SPEAKER_00

We have people in Titanium University from six different continents learning how to virtually wholesale real estate in the United States. Six continents. That still blows my mind. We have people from Israel, Egypt, Bangladesh, Brazil, Kazakhstan, and other parts of the world looking at the United States real estate market and saying, there is opportunity there. Think about how incredible that is. Someone is sitting in Bangladesh comping a house in Texas. Someone in Kazakhstan can be analyzing a seller lead in Ohio. Someone in Brazil is learning how to talk to a motivated seller in Florida. Someone in Egypt can be trying to figure out why a property in Detroit has 12 different owners, three tax liens, and a zestament that looks like Zillow had a well one too many Miller lights. And as funny as that is, it's amazing because that is what opportunity looks like now. The American dream is no longer limited to one zip code. It's not even limited to one country. The opportunity created here has become global.

Complaining Versus Real Opportunity

SPEAKER_00

And I think sometimes those of us who live here forget how rare that is. We complain about the market and the interest rates, and we complain about sellers being unrealistic. We complain about buyers backing out. We complain about league costs and taxes. And listen, I'm a business owner. I can complain with the best of them. I've complained professionally at this point. But then you step back and you realize we are complaining about the difficulty of having opportunity. That's a very different problem than having no opportunity at all. There are people all over the world who would do anything to have access to the same business environment, the same property rights, the same technology, the same ability to market, negotiate, contract, close, build, and grow. And that is why today matters to me, not just as an American, but as an entrepreneur. Because this country gave me the ability to build, gave me the ability to take risk, gave me the ability to be wrong and recover. It gave me the ability to start over, and it gave me the ability to help other people see what is possible. That is why I love seeing students from all over the world wholesaling virtually in the United States. Because it proves something that I believe deeply. Opportunity does not care where you were born. Opportunity cares what you are willing to learn, what you're willing to do, and how long you're willing to stay in the fight. Now, does America make it easy? No. This country does not hand you success. America is not standing there at the finish line with a check, a trophy, and a cheeseburger. America gives you the field. You still have to run the play. You still have to take the hit. You still have to make the call. You still have to send the offer. You still have to follow up. You still have to do the boring work that nobody claps for. But the fact that the field exists, that is worth being grateful for.

Freedom To Fail And Start Again

SPEAKER_00

And maybe that's what we should remember on July 4th. Freedom is not just fireworks. Freedom is not just waving a flag. Freedom is not just grilling burgers and pretending we know how to properly use a smoker. Freedom is the ability to choose a direction for your life and go build it. Freedom is the ability to create, to provide. Freedom is the ability to fail without that failure becoming your permanent identity. Freedom is the ability to look at your current reality and say, this is not where my story ends. That is what America has represented to me. And that is what I hope Titanium University represents to the people inside of it. Not just education, not just wholesaling, not just real estate, but the belief that you can create your own reality from Texas, from Florida, from Israel, from Egypt, from Bangladesh, from Brazil, from Kazakhstan, from anywhere. Because 250 years ago, this country was founded on an idea. And today, that idea is still creating opportunity for people all over the world. So today, I'm grateful. Grateful for this country. Grateful for the freedom to build, grateful for the entrepreneurs who keep swinging, grateful for the students who believe there is more for their life. And grateful that somehow in the year 2026, a person can be halfway across the world arguing with a seller about a house in Cleveland, Ohio. That, my friends, is beautiful.

Fireworks Now Work Monday

SPEAKER_00

Happy 250th birthday to the United States of America. Now go enjoy the fireworks. Please be careful and don't blow your hand off. And then on Monday, let's get back to work.
