Dr. Ann Levett and Dr. Christine Johns share their insights and best practices on K-12 equity issues as they relate to ensuring all students are career and college ready. In this edWebinar podcast, Dr. Levett and Dr. Johns discuss the following essential questions:

  • What groups of students may be over- or underrepresented in particular career technical programs (i.e. STEM related, business, entrepreneurship, etc.)?
  • What groups of students may be over- or underrepresented in career technical internship and apprenticeship programs?
  • How can districts address these differences with regard to procedures, policies, and goals?
  • What factors may be preventing students of different ethnicities, income levels, or ability levels from actively participating and finding success in these programs?

Listeners receive a presentation from two national leaders who are making a difference in student success with career and college readiness. This edWebinar podcast is of particular value to school superintendents, K-12 school and district leaders, and aspiring leaders.
