Show Notes

Inger and Jason both enjoyed a brief Easter break, but for different reasons. Inger has been zooming around in her new baby (the Tesla) while Jason has been participating in an intense hot cross bun competition. Inger is looking forward to a planned writing retreat in an Instagram ready barn conversion to write her romance novels while Jason is back, hard at work in the academic salt mines.

In our work problems segment we continue our dissection of '7 habits of highly effective people' by Steven Covey. For Jason, habit two 'start with the end in mind' brings back fond (?) memories of his first share house brown couch, whereas Inger forgot whole slabs of it. We discuss the various levels of Mormon-ity in each section, which inger rates from 'moderately Mormon' to 'Supes Mormon', but Jason convinces her that the wisdom is bigger than the Mormonity.

In our reading segment we muse on the problem of an 83 year old academic who won't shut up on social media and the new Cal Newport Book 'A world without email'. Inger reckons Jason won't get heaps out of this book as an advanced email wrangler, but recommends it as a good read anyway. Jason's top tip is worth sticking around for at the end as it makes your #bujo even more awesome.
