I sit down with  Melanie Fields, Assistant District Attorney with the East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney's office and Suzanne Hamilton, Executive Director of the Capital Area Family Justice Center to talk about Domestic Violence.   Some believe there should now be a social worker assisting law enforcement on Domestic Violence calls while others believe they should not be put in harm's way.
Domestic Abuse is something we may read about but not understand what goes on behind closed doors and it occurs across all socioeconomic spectrums.

Melanie Fields has started a new program called "Stop The Loss"  they targets the abusers.  We all hear about the abused but what is being done to help the perpetrators of Domestic Abuse?
