Mellanie dropped out of high school in the 10th grade to work in the plants around Houston. She even became a pipe fitter but once pregnant she moved into the office where she began to learn computer skills.
Today as the CEO of Coverflex Manufacturing, she is part of a growing trend in the increasing number of women owned businesses.
