I was just thinking today that uh there's a verse in Galatians, which I think it talks about now that we are in the Spirit. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. I think Galatians 5. We can read from verse 21.

Galatians 5, verse 21. I'll read a little ahead in verse 19 onwards. Now the words of the flesh are evident, which are adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like, of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

So he's already telling you, he gave you a long list of things that are basically the outcome of living in the flesh. And then he's telling you the fruit of the spirit. Meaning when you walk by the spirit, when you are dependent on the spirit, when you're in God's timeline, how many of you know we are talking about that? When you're in God's timeline, you don't need anything, basically. That's the reason you begin to bear fruit, and that fruit is love, joy, peace, patience, endurance. So when you're in God's timeline, basically the desires of the flesh are not the ones working in you. Now, whenever you read that scripture, remember that scripture is not foreign. It's basically saying, How does fruit come? Fruit comes by basically becoming. So when do you see a fruit on a tree? See a fruit on a tree when it's growing, right? You'll never see a fruit when a tree is just coming up. Fruit comes when the tree is in a very good place, rooted, it has capped into a water stream, it's become one with the environment, and now it's able to bear fruit. And now people come to it and eat of that fruit. So walking with the spirit, being in God's timeline means you're walking with the Holy Spirit, and that walk with the Holy Spirit bears those fruits. So can you imagine if we go by that definition? Can you read that?

Love, the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

Nine gifts? Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, self-control, faithfulness, faithfulness, gentleness, and gentleness. Can you imagine? Nine fruits are supposed to come out of our life, and they are not supposed to be something that I'm trying to do. No, we walk with the Spirit, and this is the result of walking with Him. Because when you're in God's time, you don't rush, you're gentle, you're not upset, you already have an answer for everything. Your heart is so focused on the Lord that love is the only output that you get. Peace is like a river. You are not worried because you're so peaceful because your needs are met. Your needs are not rotikapra makan, now it's Jesus. And it's met. If you have Jesus, you have everything. So he's talking about that fruit. I want you to see the other one. He's telling you that if you walk in the flesh, these are the fruits of the flesh, these are the fruits of the spirit. Go on.

Against such there is no law, and those who are Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

So why does he say against such there's no law? Nobody has to tell you once you walk with the spirit and you're walking with the Holy Spirit, there is no rule book. He becomes your partner. Do I go there? Do I do this? Do I watch this? Do I you know so many times how many of y'all get this itch to invest? Not only invest to buy things, it's just suddenly you're doing nothing and suddenly you want to buy. Nothing. You just want to you just open Amazon and you start fiddling. Or some other people have uh it you just have to play with the phone or call somebody. And uh in that, if you ask the Holy Spirit, you will get a clear answer that he probably doesn't want you to do it. There's so many times my flesh wanted to buy something, and my spirit would say, Not now. And I'm like, but Lord, I it will really be nice. And some and deep in my spirit when I'm searching, the answer is not now. Later on, when I have no use of it, God will say, Go buy it now. And guess what? When I go to buy it, the price is falling down, and it is something that you know, it's something that is blessing me. So just because you have money doesn't mean you have to spend it. That's called self-control. One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is self-control. I think the Holy Spirit wants us to talk on self-control. Is that a topic which people need? Because it's this generation is living in a time where nobody has self-control. If you feel hungry, you just pick up the phone and order. If you want something, you just call blink it and it's there. If you want anything, it's just a phone. So then there is no waiting. Today, just now I got one, suddenly I got one desire. Let's order pizza. And immediately I I was gonna take the phone. I've not eaten like for very long, okay, to be honest. It's like not I'm not eating pizza every day. But the minute I picked the phone, the Lord said, put it down. Put the phone down. Self-control. Can you control? And you'll realize the things that you can't. This is power. This is power, child of God. This is power. Self-control is power. The ability to see something and still say, I will not see you. The ability to open your phone and say, I will not open you. The ability to click and get onto Instagram and say, not today. Tomorrow. When tomorrow comes, you say not tomorrow, day after. Why? Because still in that thing is attracting you, and you are saying, I will not be mastered by anything. Because your spirit has to master everything. Are you listening to that? It's like Paul said, everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial. And I will not be mastered by anything. See if you can find that scripture somewhere. So whenever something has taken over you and you're not able to control it, know immediately that you are walking in the flesh now. Because we are supposed to live life where the spirit is able to control the flesh. Are you able to get it? I think God is speaking to someone here, definitely. The ability to be able to control your emotions is called self-control. And that's fruit comes by walking with the Holy Spirit. When you're not walking by the Holy Spirit, you'll notice anything comes down. I'm ready. Somebody will just pick the phone, chalatai, lonavla athai, jah. Bhuvi jaiga, chalo. That is a person who is walking in the flesh. So now he anything Satan can just throw one chana, you will be playing with the chana. Satan will just throw something there out of the window, you'll run and look out. You leave the Bible and go. Self-control is sitting and saying, God, I know this thing is calling me, but I have the control to look at it and not touch it. My favorite. Chips are looking in the house at you. You have to have the ability to look at chips and say, I want chip. Everybody can eat it. You. You cannot eat it. Why? Because you have a problem. Once you have control over it, after one, two years eat. But now you know you have control. And that too. Now you're eating because now I have control. You get it? Before I had no control and I was eating. That's not what the spirit. The spirit controls the flesh and it's power. You realize this, you you check this and see. The more you're able to can have self-control, the more you'll be able to get work done. Because you're not able to complete your work because of lack of self-control in many areas. Now, when you have self-control, you're able to do more work, you're able to be more productive at work. You have you heard people who always complain they have no time? It's not that they have no time. They have no self-control. So they are able, so they go and do anything and everything, and then they blame, I have no time. Have you met people who have to be reminded about many things? Even their boss has to remind them. It's not because they don't have a good memory. It's because you're not focused. That means you're doing many things. There's no self-control. When there's no self-control, there's no focus. And so you know where you have to go in life. You know what you were born for, but you're not able to go with no self-control. I'm telling you, self-control is not something your flesh can develop. Start walking with the Holy Spirit. Start leaning on him. Start crying out to him. Start having a relationship with him. Start telling him, Lord, I want to know you more. I want to read about you. Start reading the word. Start meditating on it. And you start seeing self-control will start building in you. You'll suddenly get angry that why I can't control things. Because if you go on to see in that scripture, go on, go ahead, go ahead in that scripture. This is interesting, you can't do that. How many of you know that that uh part of getting uh a Pentecost Sunday, you need self-control. The disciples sat in one place until the fire came. That's self-control. They could have gone hundred other places, they could have checked out many other things, but they said no, we are not moving, self-control, we are not moving until the fire hits this building. Yeah, go ahead.

Verse 25. If we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Where is that verse? So I say live by the spirit.

For the flesh.

So I say walk in the spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the spirit, and the spirit against the flesh. They are always at Tagawa, so that a man does not do what he wants to, right? We can read it.

And these are contrary to one another.

That means they are an opposite pole. The flesh is trying to pull you, and the Holy Spirit, the Spirit is trying to pull you into your identity, and they are against each other. This is a continual war you will face if you are born again. How many of you know what I'm saying? This is a continual war. If you are born again, this is what you are going to face till the day you meet the Lord Jesus. Because the flesh always wants to pull you away from God's plan for your life, and the spirit is always going to fight the flesh and try to pull you. So you often end up that you know what you want to do, but you don't do it. Can you read that again?

And these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

Remember this. He's saying so that you do not do the things you wish. Means what he's telling you that you are in the spirit, that's why you have a desire to love God. It's not because you are in the flesh, you are in the spirit, but the flesh is the one pulling so that you don't do what you know you should do. And that's why when you do what you should not do, you feel guilty and condemned after that. Why? Because you are not in the flesh as much as you guys think you're in the flesh and come with good news. You are actually in the spirit after born-again experience. You are not in the flesh anymore. You are actually right now seated with Christ. You are a spiritual being housed in a physical body. You are seated with Christ, you are hidden with Christ, you are one with Christ, you have the mind of Christ, you have the power of Christ, you have the fullness of Christ, and the only reason it's not being released is because the flesh is always pulling you away from who you really are. So never think when you do bad, oh I'm a bad guy. No, it's actually you're a Holy Spirit guide, and the flesh won this battle and pulled you and made you do something that you're not. That's why you feel bad. Do you know the people who are not saved, they never feel bad when they do things. And it is you who gets up and says, I don't know how they could be so bad. It's because you're in the spirit and you're looking at them and saying, Why can't you be like me? But they are not you. It's time you woke up. It's time you woke up to who you are. So you do not do what you want. That means the very fact that you sin is because that's not you. It is sin living in your members, it is sin which is pulling you down. But I've got good news for you. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. You can continue walking with the Holy Spirit till you get more and more strong and self-control. So I want you to find areas in your life where there's no control. Find areas. Don't go too far out, just go in your own life. Check new habits. Is there something that you like eating? Break it. Break it and see how long you can hold it. Is there something that you like watching doing first thing in the morning? Break it. Anything that is taking over your spirit, man, break it. In Jesus' mighty name. Don't let something take over your spirit. Because that is the reason you lack power in your private life, in your personal life, and in your corporate life. Wow. Go on, read.

But if you are led by the spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are adultery, fornication.

You realize that? Desires. We spoke about it, right? Yes. Felt a strong urge to talk about it. So those who are Christ, that means there's a crucification that has to be done. Jesus crucified Himself for our sin, for our resurrection, for our eternal salvation, for the abundant life, but God still demands that we crucify our desires and passions. So he's not asking you to die, but he's asking you to crucify your will. Do you know your will is the master of all your flesh and desires? That's why they made iPad, iPhone, iPod, I, I, I, I is everywhere there. So when you own an iPhone, you're like, I own it. You know, Satan said, I, I, I, and he was shot down. So remember this that God still demands that he Crucify the flesh and it desires, and then he tells you, if we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit. So he's telling you, he's not saying if you like you know to question you and say, guys, do you think you really live in the spirit? No, he's telling you, guys, you live in the spirit. So then walk in the spirit. Wow. Can you believe that? Every one of you, you are actually living in the spirit. You are alive in the spirit. Yet, how much of our activity that we do is all flesh? Because we are not learned to trust the spirit. We have not learned to understand that you are gods. I said you are gods, Jesus said. The scripture cannot be broken. To whom the word of the Lord also came. You know what gods are? God is not what you're thinking. Like Superman, you'll fly around the earth three times and go into the sun and come out. Because most people think when you think God did. You know what God is? God is someone who can be completely robbed, completely cheated on, completely misinterpreted, completely denied, completely manipulated, completely made fun of, completely be sidetracked, completely be ridiculed, completely be put down among all your brothers, and yet you have the power to come on top of all of that. That's being God. That's what He means by you are God. Do you know the most misunderstood person on the earth was Jesus? He was born in a stabela. Anyone over here was born in a stable? And yet, this is the power. He overcame the stable and became a king. Are you able to see that? He was born in a manger, yet he became a king. He was born and he was he was made fun of by all his brothers, yet he demonstrated the greatness of God. He was tricked and lied and they humiliated him, made fun of him, tried to put him into problems, trick him. The Pharisees and the Sadducees, and what did Jesus do? He became a god to them and gave them such answers that their mouth was shut. The Pharisees and the Sadducees put the whole nation of Israel against him. But do you know what Jesus did? No one could kill him before his time. That's being a God. Do you know what Jesus did? He overcame every problem. This is the power of being a God. It means that when all the points are against you, you still come out a winner because you are a God. It doesn't mean that you go around shooting people with gamma rays from your eyes. Doesn't mean that you fly in the air. This is not God. God means that while you're here in meekness, in feebleness in your body, in every way that people come to attack you, you're gonna rise. That means, you know what it means? That means you're a problem solver. Basically, any problem can be given to you. All you have to do is manifest your nature, which is a God, and you will have the answer. Do you know any problem? Any problem. Some of you are running away from problems, that's why you never get a reward. Do you know why you get rewards for solving problems? You never get a reward for not solving a problem. You don't get a reward for just sitting and doing what everybody is doing. You get a reward for doing something nobody did, and that means you'll have to solve a problem. You'll have to solve a problem. Find out what is the problem, where is the problem of lack of self-control. Find out the answer. Find out the answer in your life. What is the root cause of it? Find out the answer why you're not able to focus. You're a God, you'll get the answer. Once you get the answer, you focus. That's where your promotion comes. Are you able to understand? This is not how your promotion comes. Come to church, Pastor, pray over me, bless me, prophesy over me, and I'm going to change. No, this is what church actually believes. Come to church, prophesy, and I'm going to get rich. I actually have people, your prophecy came true. And I'm like, praise God. But I'm always looking to see whether you can hold what came through in your life. Because holding it is very different from getting it. You can get a prophecy and it will happen, but the devil can steal it overnight. And you'll be back again for another one. Because you have not grown in your likeness. If we are in the spirit, let us walk. That means you are in the spirit. Guys, just close your eyes for a minute and just think about this. You are seated with Christ. You are one with Christ. You are hidden in Christ. You are at the right hand of the Father. You can tap the Father right now and seek his mind because you've got the Holy Spirit. That means you have the mind of Christ. You have the power, you have the fullness, and yet we can't see power in our lives. Why? Because we are not living from that location. We are living from the location we are on earth and we are trying to go to heaven. You have to live from that location and manifest heaven on earth. Let me just say this to you. How many of you have seen a diver connected to an oxygen cylinder? Have you seen that? And he's underwater breathing. That is the way we have to live. The diver is in another environment, but he's sustained by another source. That means he's in water, but yet he's living because of oxygen. Another source. We are in this world, but our strength comes from another world. That's why Jesus never said, I'll take you from the world. He says, Father, as you sent me in the world, so I send them. So listen to me. Your spirituality, your spirituality is not given so you can escape the world. You have to use your spiritual life to transform the world. That means don't come and tell me how spiritual you are. Show me what you have transformed, and I'll show you how spiritual you are. Because spirituality that Jesus gives is not meant to do what? Escape the world. Hallelujah. You are not merely surviving earth. You are heaven's authorized influence in it. You are not surviving the earth, you are heaven's authorized influence in it. In it. That means if anybody's authorized on earth to bring influence, it's you and me. So live by the spirit. So live by the spirit. So live by the spirit. So live by the spirit. So live by the spirit. Can we end? Can we thank God for this word? Laboshakiteh. Father, we just thank you for this word. Lord, all of us need to live by the Spirit. For if we live by the Spirit, for if we are in the Spirit, then let us walk in the Spirit. That is our home. We are in Christ, in heavenly places, seated at right hand. Lord, as much as the flesh tries to make us fall and drags us, let the fruit of the spirit begin as we depend on the Holy Spirit, as we walk with the Holy Spirit, as we live with the Holy Spirit, as we live to make him smile, as we live to be walk in partnership with him, as we live to depend on him, as we live to focus on the sweet Holy Spirit, the fruit of the spirit of self-control shall be ours.
