Dana is a recipient of the Heritage Musician award from the Pilgrim Center for the Arts, Folk Alliance International's 2015 Spirit of Folk award and numerous Best of the Year kudos for both album and individual excellence, he’s performed at any number of major festivals, venues and gathering places where the folk faithful tend to gather in order to express appreciation and admiration for those that carry that tradition forward. So too, his songs have been covered by a veritable who’s who of today’s leading lights — Maura O’Connell, Pierce Pettis, Susan Werner, Claire Lynch and Trout Fishing in America, among them. His career trajectory extends back nearly 50 years, beginning with his eponymous major label debut in 1973. To date, he’s released no less than 15 albums, including four this past decade alone.
