Jeremy Welwood is a 38 year old trail runner from Winnipeg, MB. He is an Athletic Therapist and Personal Trainer as well as the proud father of 2 children, ages 3 and 5. He has a background in amateur boxing and triathlon and has completed 3 full Ironman events.  Five years ago Jeremy shifted into ultrarunning and has demonstrated he has the personality and grit to excel at really long events. On October 17, 2020 Jeremy competed for Team Canada in Big Dog’s Backyard Ultra World Championship in Kelowna, BC.  Since then we have eagerly been waiting to hear all about his experience at this very unique last-man-standing style event.
