Call IT In with Dar

Animal Guidance Series: Goat Medicine

Darla McCann - Energy Healer ✨ Season 3 Episode 41

A friend of mine, who lived in a beautiful luxurious lake home, where our children grew up together, did not have a pet, dog, cat, fish, bird, hamster, or even a horse for the children to play with, but rather a goat named “Trash”. Not only was his name funny, but it also defined his purpose in life. Because goats eat, digest and transmute unwanted physical matter, purifying energy around waste. They help with local ecology, and can eat toxic plants that other animals cannot safely consume. They are highly intelligent, and have a wonderful sense of balance. A female goat is called a doe, or also a nanny goat because it is skilled at nurturing and caring for baby goats. The male goat is called a buck and is independent and strong and wise, sometimes called a Billy goat. Trash was loving, affectionate, intelligent, and loyal. Also, all the children love to play with him.

Overall goats symbolize balance, vitality, patience, ambitions, fearlessness, peacefulness, and confidence, positivity, abundance and prosperity are also qualities of goat medicine. They are flexible and can live in many different climates and terrains. It can balance on uneven ledges and cliffs. Goats use the power of both their mind and body to reach a desired goal. Goats can live well in any climate and go without food for long stretches of time. They aren't at all picky about what they eat either

So call on goat medicine for abundance, agility, balance, wisdom, courage, curiosity, faith, independence, peace, nurturing, respect, vitality, and to reach new heights. Call on the goat.” Call IT in With Dar!”

Even with their relatively small bodies, they are strong, fearless, and very rarely angry.

Goat medicine can bring peacefulness into your life, as well as playfulness. One of the most interesting characteristics of goats is their unusual rectangular shaped pupil in their eyes. That allows them to view 320 to 340 degrees so they can see everything around them, just not directly to their back. It has a flexible skeleton to help it climb easily and walk on steep hills. The goat is a sign of Capricorn in astrology, and cashmere and angora goats have excellent wool. In the Bible, goats are respected and used as a sacrifice. That goat is mentioned as a symbol of Satan. When Pagans worshiped the goat as an idol, as their God. In Greek mythology, goats symbolize material abundance and wealth. The foster mother of the god Zeus, was a goat named Amethea raised Zeus sense infancy. Once When Zeus was not aware of his powers, he mistakenly broke off one of her horns, but she gifted it back to him. Then Zeus would use his godlike powers to fill her horn with whatever she desired.

In Viking Norse mythology, Thor the God of thunder had a chariot pulled by goats. In African folklore, goats are often seen as a symbol of wisdom and cunning, sometimes representative of figures of authority, and also tricksters. Because it is one of the most life sustaining animals in their culture, it has become a symbol of fertility, health and prosperity. Native Americans consider goats as a symbol of fertility, sexuality, and creativity as well. In ancient Egypt, goats were associated with the goddess Isis, symbolizing fertility, and motherhood.

In today's world, goat farming is a billion-dollar industry found all around the world. And goats are domesticated for a variety of reasons. The top two are for meat production, and milk. There are about 300 different breeds, and the goat's lifespan is 15 to 18 years. They can weigh anywhere from 120 to even 300 pounds. I think it's interesting that they have a four chambered stomach to help them digest roughage like hay and sticks. One fun fact is the goats can change their sound, and they almost develop an accent similar to the people where they live. Mountain Goats can jump about 12 feet in one single bound.

In most cases, goat symbolism is letting you know that it is time to start something new. Time to take on a new climb. Plan a new course of action and take your time so that you can be sure footed along your path. Trust yourself and your ability to land on your feet. Know that you have the power to reach your goals. Goats spirit will help you be persistent, inspired and have a greater perspective. Occasionally, goats can be stubborn, but their other characteristics are very desirable. So call on goat medicine for abundance, agility, balance, wisdom, courage, curiosity, faith, independence, peace, nurturing, respect, vitality, and to reach new heights.
