Today I want to talk about something I hear from women all the time: “I’m just so tired.” Maybe you’ve said it yourself. You wake up exhausted, even after a full night’s sleep. You push through the day on coffee, snacks, or sheer willpower. And by evening, you’re too drained to enjoy the things that once brought you joy. 

Some people will tell you, “Well, that’s just part of getting older.”  But let me tell you the truth: it’s not. 

Fatigue, brain fog, that heavy sluggishness in your body—those are not signs of aging. They’re signs that your energy has been scattered, spent, and given away…and it’s time to call it back. So how do we do that? Let me share a few simple ways: 

First, pause and breathe. Energy leaks happen when we’re constantly rushing, multitasking, or worrying. Just taking a few deep breaths can reset your nervous system and give your body the message: you’re safe, you can restore now. 

Second, say no more often. I know—many of us have spent decades putting everyone else first. But every time you say “yes” to something that drains you, you’re saying “no” to your own vitality. Protect your energy like it’s sacred—because it is. 

Third, make space for joy. Energy doesn’t just come from rest—it comes from pleasure, laughter, creativity, connection. What’s one small thing you can do today that makes you feel alive? That spark is fuel. 

And finally, listen to your body. Fatigue is not a failure. It’s a message. When you honor that message—by resting, moving gently, or nourishing yourself with better food—you begin to restore what’s been depleted. 

You see, calling back your energy isn’t about doing more. It’s about letting go of what doesn’t serve you, so your body and spirit can remember how to thrive. 

Calling Back Your Energy 

 Activity: Energy Gathering Breath 

Guide them to place one hand on their heart, one on their belly.Inhale slowly, imagining they are gathering their scattered energy back into their body. Exhale with a gentle sigh, releasing stress or tension. Repeat 3 times 

So here’s my invitation for you today: choose one small shift. One breath, one boundary, one joy. Call back just a little bit of your energy, and notice how it feels. 

Because once you begin to gather your energy again, you’ll discover something incredible: your vitality has been waiting for you all along. So call back your energy. Call it back with Dar
