Call IT In with Dar

Vitality Mini-Series 3: Reclaim Your Body’s Wisdom

Darla McCann - Energy Healer ✨ Season 6 Episode 7

Welcome to Reclaiming Your Body’s Wisdom episode 3 of our Rising with Vitality mini series. Today, I want to talk about something that so many women struggle with—especially as we move into our fifties, sixties, and beyond. It’s that complicated relationship with our bodies. For years, maybe even decades, we’ve been taught to push, to punish, to criticize our bodies into being something different. Thinner. Younger. Stronger. More “acceptable.” And when the aches, the changes, the shifts of midlife show up, it can feel like our bodies have betrayed us.

But here’s the truth: your body has never been your enemy.

It has always been your wisest guide.

Every ache, every twinge of fatigue, every craving or restless night—it isn’t failure. It’s communication. Your body is speaking to you. The question is, are you listening?  SO Call in the Wisdom of your Body. “Call IT in With Dar”!

Reclaiming Your Body’s Wisdom

 Activity: Body Scan of Appreciation

●             Invite them to close their eyes and mentally scan from head to toe.

●             At each area (head, shoulders, hands, hips, legs, feet), whisper: “Thank you.”

●             This transforms self-criticism into gratitude and deepens body connection. When you reclaim your body’s wisdom, you stop forcing it to fit into someone else’s idea of health, and you begin to discover what vitality feels like for you.

That might look like moving in ways that bring pleasure instead of pain—dancing in the kitchen, walking by the lake, stretching gently in the morning sun. It might mean eating foods that leave you feeling light, clear, and steady, instead of chasing quick fixes or diets that only deplete you. It might even mean resting—yes, truly resting—without guilt. Because rest is not laziness. It’s medicine.

And here’s something powerful: your body knows how to heal. Your cells are constantly renewing, your muscles are capable of growing stronger, your energy can be restored. Even now. Even in this season of life.

So today, I invite you to soften the battle. Instead of asking, “What’s wrong with me?” try asking,

“What is my body asking for today?”

When you learn to listen and respond with kindness, something beautiful happens: your body begins to trust you again. And from that trust, vitality flows.

This is not about looking like you’re 30 again. It’s about feeling free, at home, and alive in the body you have today.

Because this body—it has carried you through every season of your life. And now, it’s ready to carry you into the most vibrant one yet. So call in your own body’s wisdom! “ Call IT in With Dar!”
