As part of the submissions for the inaugural UC Awards we spoke to award nominee 2600Hz about their year so far, the main industry trends impacting them, and their plans for 2019. Cloud telephony has often been criticised for being overly complex to initiate and too expensive to operate. 2600Hz was founded to be the antithesis to these issues. It offers a cloud-based telephony platform that simplifies how business sell, deliver and manage communication services all developed as an open-source platform to maximise innovation and availability. Today we hear about their 2018 and what their plans are for the next 12 months.
