Talking Inclusion
The Talking Inclusion series seeks to enable more inclusive communities and greater diversity in our workplaces. Producer Geordie Anderson and host Bill Armstrong share the life stories of people from a wide and varied mix of backgrounds – most often from minority groups. These are stories that you may never have pondered, from people whose journeys and challenges you may never have experienced. The Talking Inclusion team believe that by sharing these stories we can foster more empathy and understanding, and by enabling greater understanding we can overcome the inherent bias that limits our ability to include and connect with people whose life and experiences have been different to our own. Talking Inclusion is sponsored by the Hunter Diversity and Inclusion Collective, a group of like-minded spirits seeking to make the Greater Hunter region of New South Wales (in Australia) a more diverse and inclusive community (something which hasn’t come naturally to this part of the world in the past).
