Hey guys, it's Declan here. Welcome to another episode of Crime Waves. This season about cold cases is coming up and it's going to be fantastic. There are episodes on the greatest unsolved murder in the world today. It's a case that's going to rock your mind. Literally hundreds of thousands of people have died because no one knows who committed this murder.
Two, we have an episode entitled, what does it take to get arrested in Las Vegas? It's about the murder of Tupac and the brilliant investigator who told the world who had committed the crime months after Tupac's shooting, only for the Las Vegas police to completely ignore her discoveries for the next 27 years.
There's an episode. It's chilling. It's creepy, but it's interesting. deeply informative. It's about a serial killer graveyard here in Connecticut. It's a lonely stretch of road where half a dozen unfortunate victims have been dumped. Our interview is with one of the investigators tasked with finding out the identity of that killer.
There are a dozen episodes about other cold cases, including the final episodes, the ones you've been waiting for about Jeffrey Epstein's death in a New York prison cell. There's a case of the Boeing whistleblowers, an extraordinary interview, and a true forensic expert goes through the Perugia murder of Meredith Kircher, and he shows how the Italian police went wrong.
And finally, one of my favorites is about the mysterious billionaire. Who could have actually saved the world from Adolf Hitler. And a few days before going to Berlin, he went into his Paris hotel room and never came out. 30 years later, however, his brother published a book and said he had been murdered.
So join us for all of those episodes. And now A note, we don't have a lot of money. So there's always going to be small glitches or little production edited problems, but please know that we are crime waves are a podcast small, but we aim to punch a far above our weight. And we've become something of a factory of story ideas and projects for big mainstream media.
We've been contacted, interviewed, or mentioned on Discovery TV, the BBC, Tucker Carlson show, French television, Japanese television, and production houses in London, Toronto, and LA have contact us, uh, as well as a bunch of newspaper articles on our show. So they essentially want to do our work with A lot more money and promotion.
That's cool. But you know, as one of our regular listeners and watches crime waves is based on three principles first And this is what I teach the students. We're investigators first. So crime waves is completely independent and factual. There's no political biases, none of that partisan nonsense that's destroyed much of the media in the last 10 years.
You might not like what we have to say. You might Think that who we interview is not correct, but we're not CNN. We're not Fox. We're not MSNBC, and we're not pushing at you any kind of agenda. We don't take or ask you for money in any way. So there's no subscriptions. There's no commercials. It's all entirely free for you, our listeners.
I think that's important. We're a university. It's our job to get ideas and new stories out to the public. Three, if you have any problems, questions, concerns, we want to hear about them, particularly if you think we've made a mistake in any way. However, the good stuff from the episode is always my students fault.
It's always there. And if there's something bad. It's my fault. So please, when you write, and we really want to hear from you, no nasty comments about my students. I really, please just keep it polite. Or if you've got criticism, address it at me and I've got big shoulders, I can take it. Otherwise it's an honor and a pleasure to do Crime Waves for you, our loyal listeners.
And I think you're really going to enjoy these upcoming shows.
