Matt Kirchner is an international speaker, author and podcast host on topics relevant to educators, employers and policymakers.

Matt is on a mission to secure the American Dream for the next generation of STEM and workforce talent.

After spending 20+ years serving as CEO of American manufacturing companies, Kirchner transitioned his career to technical education where he serves as President of ATS/LAB Midwest and seeks to align education with industry.

Kirchner writes monthly leadership columns in Products Finishing and Production Machining magazines, authored “Teaching the Industrial Internet of Things: Preparing Students and Learners for Industry 4.0," and hosts The TechEd Podcast. 

He also serves on the board of several American companies, the board of trustees of the American Technical Education Association and on the board of the Smart Automation Certification Alliance.
