Hello, Reinvention Rebels, I've missed you!

After a longer-than-expected hiatus, I'm back and excited to share some inspiring, empowering, and invigorating content with you. My absence was due to the loss of my mom, a true Reinvention Rebel herself, whose spirit continues to guide and inspire me.

I'm excited to share what's on the horizon in coming months.

We'll explore some exciting new stories, starting with a four-part mini series at the end of November called 'Where Are They Now?' We'll reconnect with four remarkable women from season one who continue to redefine and rediscover themselves.

Brace yourselves for an awesome Season 6 that's not too far away, with a theme that's close to my heart - 'Own your Awesome'.

Get ready to step into your greatness as you meet a line-up of inspiring women aged between 50 and 90. Listen in as they share their incredible journeys, sparking ideas for your own reinvention.

Also on the horizon is my eight-part audio series 'Midlife Reinvention from the Inside Out: Eight Essentials to Greenlight your Life'. This program explores eight core elements needed for becoming a Reinvention Rebel. I'm your host, Wendy Battles, ready for a dose of inspiration. Let's get to it. Hey, hey, everybody. It's Wendy, host of the Reinvention Rebels podcast. I am so happy to be back with you. You might be thinking where have you been? And I have been on a hiatus a little longer than I had anticipated. But I am coming back and want to give you a little preview of what's to come in coming months. But first I want to tell you a little bit of news and you probably get a better understanding of why I've been gone so long.

Unfortunately, in early September my mom passed away after a long illness. I know many of you are familiar with my mom. I interviewed her on the podcast. She was full of life impossibility. She was a Reinvention Rebel. So that's been a lot and it's taken me a while to process things. Deal with all the things you have to do when someone passes away and, honestly, when something about when it's your mom, it's really hard. So it's been a minute because I had to kind of pull myself together and I also needed time just to be thinking about the podcast and what's coming, and after several months I've had a chance to really begin to pull things together. So I want to take this brief episode to tell you about some very exciting things coming down the pike that I cannot wait for you to listen to.

First, I want to tell you about a four-part mini series that starts the end of November that I am so excited about. It's called when Are they Now? Remember, back in the day you followed people, stars of TV shows or your favorite musical artist. Then they disappeared and you're like whatever happened to so-and-so. But we're taking that concept, turning it into this little mini series, and I have the pleasure of going back and connecting with four of the amazing Reinvention Rebels that helped me kick off the podcast back in season one. That was already three years ago, and they have amazing things to say. They've been up to the coolest things. They have grown as Reinvention Rebels. They've discovered things about themselves. They've often surprised themselves. They're continuing on their Reinvention Rebel journey and we are going to be delving into all of that in a series of four short episodes. So I cannot wait for you to start listening. That is starting very soon. In addition to that, season six is not that far away, and I'm really excited about season six.

The theme is Own your Awesome, own your Awesome, which is all about how we can step into our greatness, how we can claim it, how we can truly recognize that we are amazing just as we are. So I've got so many fascinating women, between 50 and 90, lined up who are going to inspire you with their stories and help you see on what might be possible in your own life as you reinvent, and that's going to be starting in the new year, so look for that. I also want to tell you that another thing I've been tucked away working very hard on is my eight part audio series called Midlife Reinvention from the Inside Out Eight Essentials to Greenlight your Life. Oh, I can't wait to tell you about this program. It is awesome. I spent months working on it, but it is eight core things that you really need when you decide you are ready to become a Reinvention Rebel, that you're ready to go on this journey and this idea that it all starts within. You already have all the answers. That's going to be day viewing in the next month or so and, by the way.
