35. Managing the Highs & Lows of Work
In this first of our Mental Health Month episodes, we explore the role that looking after our mental health and wellbeing has on our ability to keep safe, happy and productive in our workplaces. Research suggests that 1 in 6 adults have experienced a common mental health issue in the past week this year and this is becoming a bigger issue year on year. Looking after our general state of wellbeing and state of mind has probably far more influence on our potential future professional success than what is written on our CV. Taking time to talk, connect and prioritise your self-care is an essential part of the evolving world of work skillset. Put as much emphasis on your mental health as you would physical health. Trust yourself!
