53. Time To Tether as a Team
Just like astronauts in space, feeling securely tethered to the base makes exploring the unknown exciting rather than terrifying. As hybrid working evolves and develops what is plain to see is that the quality of teamwork, camaraderie and unity is influencing the level of motivation to return to an office. Feeling tethered to something bigger is a great way to engage and energise a team and strengthen bonds between new and existing colleagues.
Now is not the time to skimp on team time and we suggest doubling the usual team meeting time to provide the space for quality catch up time. We share our TIME concept for the first few team get togethers. Time spent re-tethering as a team now will build in energy and resilience in the months ahead.
