59. Making Courageous Decisions
Courage is the ability to do something that frightens us; a timeless value but even more so during disruptive, uncertain and unpredictable times. Being able to handle life’s big decisions and small dilemmas will continue to be part of the skills for the future (defying any algorithm). We are delighted to be joined in this episode by the inspiring Sophie Bennett who shares her hard-won wisdom and advice on bringing courage and confidence when making tricky decisions. Listening to her reminds us that if something doesn't feel right, notice it, take a deep breath and process the options that are best for you. We summarise the BRAIN tool which helps individuals or teams to think through a challenging or complex problem. Given the amount of unpredictability at the moment it also helps maintain confidence in that decision afterwards.
