62. Less Online Stress
If being bombarded with urgent messages and emails whilst on a Teams call has become your daily reality, now could be the time to set some new 'techiquette' - rules and principles for how you want to use tech. Whether in an office or at home- simple decisions to protect your ability to concentrate and be present could be game-changers to your stress levels. With hybrid working here to stay for many, the Mental Foundation reports that 74% of (UK) adults have felt so stressed in the past year it has made them feel overwhelmed and unable to cope. In this episode we encourage us all to take the reins and control our tech, with practical examples of how organisations are starting to instil new rules of working with tech. Hybrid working has its benefits but there are serious health costs if we don't make adaptations that reduce stress. Block out that daily downtime, turn off the notifications and set yourself up well now for the years ahead.
