Stress is a misunderstood and multifaceted beast.
It precipitates unwanted auto-pilot behaviours, and begins a whole series of negative biochemical, hormonal and cellular events inside the body, placing us in an inflammatory state. This state over time can lead to mental health challenges such as depression and anxiety, physical challenges such as disease, pain and weight gain, as well as self sabotaging behaviours, all of which keep us stuck in the cycle.
Stress is so often perceived as something outside of our control, so in this episode we unpack this beast so that you can find some easy steps to reduce its stranglehold and minimise some of the physical and mental experiences the may be your reality.
