Pep Talks and Prosecco
55. Shannon Christensen Mamas for Mamas Part Two
This week on Pep Talks & Prosecco we continue our conversation with Shannon Christensen, Founder and Chief Vision Officer for Mamas for Mamas. If you thought that Shannon lit up the podcast airwaves in part one of this interview, you were right but she was only getting started. In part two she continues to build the momentum around her purpose and conviction for creating a community that works together for the betterment of all.
Mamas for Mamas is a specialized poverty relief agency and an all inclusive community for mothers and caregivers. They envision a future where no mama or child is left behind. It is the first national non-profit to be formed through a social media platform and is breaking down barriers and building longer tables from coast to coast.
Once the cork popped on the prosecco, this episode soared into full swing! With a quick wit, infectious laughter, and conviction unlike any other, Shannon delivered a masterclass on her vision and mission for all mamas in the future. Her belief that all mamas need and deserve less competition and more kindness is showcased through her own personal experiences and those she has witnessed through work in the organization. From celebration to heartbreak, Shannon keeps things authentic and skips the bullshit.
