On this episode of She Who Believed, we reflect on the difference between living from our scars and living from God’s healing.

Together, we explore what it means to release old labels, stop building identity around brokenness, and embrace the truth that we are redeemed, restored, and made new in Christ.

This conversation dives into:
• healing and identity in Christ
• letting go of shame and survival mode
• the difference between testimony and attachment to pain
• allowing God’s redemption—not our wounds—to define us

One of the deepest truths from this episode is this:

“You can be healed enough to function, yet still think from brokenness.”

But God never intended survival to be your permanent state. Wholeness is still His desire for you.

Scripture reminds us:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.” — Isaiah 43:1

You are not defined by what broke you.
You are defined by the Savior who made you whole.
