Natalia Dalton Shares Her Story Of Unfairness In Family Court And How The Court Is Failing her Son

   Slam the Gavel welcomes Natalia Dalton And Chris DeVol to the show. Natalia shares her incredibly unfair story of a mother taken away from her son.
      Natalia Dalton is from Alexandria, Virginia and had a son with an ex-boyfriend in 2008. Since the child had been six years of age, Natalia had physical custody. However, when she started to see her son acting aggressively after returning from his visits with dad, Natalia  sought help in the court in 2014.
     The court, instead of investigating the causes of her son's behavior, they instead fixated themselves on Natalia Dalton. She then became a Target Parent.
      In a status conference, the opposing attorney filed an Emergency Motion to SWITCH CUSTODY because he claimed that Natalia had come to her son's school barefoot. Natalia states this never has happened and she was not even at the conference. This motion was granted.
     Natalia has found herself only allowed two, three-hour sessions per month to see her son to the tune of $300.00 per session.
      Natalia's ex complained that she was rude to a doctor. Unfortunately, there was a court order in place which forbade Natalia to communicate with doctors regarding her son's health.  After Natalia had sent out four emails when she became very concerned about the medication, the physician changed the medication. But in retaliation, the judge SENTENCED her to FIVE days in JAIL for violating the court order.
     Natalia states, "I have this constant ache in my heart," and "I find myself crying more than usual because of how unfair it is that I can't see my son."
