Slam the Gavel welcomes Thomas Pepe to the podcast for an update in his case. Thomas was last on the podcast January 9th, 2023, Season 4, Episode 6. Thomas lost his father in 2020 and he didn't even know his father had passed and didn't even know an autopsy was done stating that his father died of natural causes. However the will went missing.
Thomas's father had four children including a set of twins. This probate issue has caused mass havoc within the family. The siblings are using the courts to ruin Thomas's life and brag about it. The issue is the will was never registered with the state of Florida and now Thomas is finding himself as administrator and being forced into probate court.
Thomas wants to honor the deceased and honor his father's wishes. A motion for a continuance was put in and Thomas answered with a motion to deny the continuance for a hearing for wrongdoing and criminality. His Hearing is February 9th, 2023.
Thomas brought on a family friend, Ted Long on to discuss that this is a constant battle for Thomas with its ups and downs and how trying all of this is to him. Ted wonders why this estate hasn't settled in 6 months and why does this have to drag out so long. He Las added that this is ripping the family apart, the rollercoaster ride, the paperwork.
Thomas says there is a stench of evil and discussed how his father taught him to avoid toxic people and that they are like a cancer you have to cut out of your life. Thomas states that he can handle it but how his Father was treated like that bothers him and they are robbing from the dead and, "it saddens me that people have a lack of knowledge or do not care."
