Back on Slam the Gavel for EPISODE 2, Bill Coleman talks about how the Tender Years Doctrine helped to produce Parental Alienation by taking the child from the mother.  (See episode Season one, Episode 22 with Michael Sayen).
Bill discussed Child Support monies becoming an issue such as, "if you don't pay, you don't see the kids," which also enhanced Parental Alienation further as well as false allegations on either the Mother or the Father. Bill questions why reasonable-minded people don't interject and stop this, but money plays the role in perpetuating the Parental Alienation.
Bill talked about his Family Court case being multi-faceted and how so many things come into play when a parent isn't allowed to see their child such as continuances and false allegations and the more time spent away from the child, the child starts to change toward the Target Parent. Family Court rewards the parent that alienates.
More Mothers, Bill said, must come forward with Parental Alienation issues to bring into the social arena. Encouraging women to get involved with Father's groups as they want Mothers in the groups to help take the lead and play a role in leadership in ending the travesty of Parental Alienation that is destroying future generations.
This disease of Parental Alienation was brought on because of the laws not being in favor of the Father, however it all started with the Tender Years Doctrine. Bill encourages that the Fathers need to back the Mothers to help end this systemic issue of Parental Alienation.
Children grow so fast, and in Bill's case he lost out on time with his children based on false allegations which led him into the criminal court arena. The proof of innocence is not grounds to overturn a criminal conviction, it has to be an error of law.
Bill talked about feeling suicidal but had to regroup and find another way for the children and their greater good, and suicide wasn't the answer. Money should not be weaponized in order to see your children.  More to come in EPISODE THREE.....
